The Sixteenth Man

This is a movie documentary based on the tyranny of the post British control of South Africa, and continues into how the new government is being formed through a sport that was mainly played by whites. Rugby and through integration of Blacks into the game it introduced a new era into the history of South Africa. Nelson Mandela was also the president of South Africa during the time that the Documentary talks about. This documentary talks a lot about the start of the Democracy in South Africa and how natives and colonizers reacted. The documentary also consisted of interviews from the Rugby players that played for South Africa and footage of the games that they played. I thought this documentary was very consistent in information and footage from the era. This was an all great documentary I think anyone who is interested in History and sports would definitely enjoy this documentary.
